The book that started it all
I got this book a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..... and I loved it. The best part of this book to me was the beautiful illustrations. They were bright and colorful, filling me with joy. I also enjoyed the simplicity of it. sadly, it had only 26 pages and was not made for someone my age, so it did not keep me entertained for long. If you are, or have a kid, I suggest this book to you, even if it is out of print...

The Crystal Connection: A Guidebook for Personal and Planetary Ascension
Published in Paperback by HarperCollins (paper) (January, 1987)
Authors: Randall N. Baer and Vicki Vittitow Baer
Average review score:

One of the early crystal healing pioneers, worth the study
I followed Dr Baers work for many years and ended up taking over his Starcrest Academy of Interdimensional Law and Science, the book is an interesting perspective into the biocrystalline relationship to consciousness with many tools for assisting in the "ascension" process (I cringe at the word ascension). Randall later died age 33 years after denouncing his work. That is another story ... see the "New Age Nightmare". But ... the concepts are great

Crystal deva cards : the mineral kingdom's messages of hope & self-empowerment for the new millennium
Published in Unknown Binding by Inner Quest Pub. ()

Photo-based oracle
I just found this one thru Bookfinder! The cards have the alchemical symbol for crystal on top, name & keyword below, & are bordered in that "metaphysical purple" color! Minimal gloss finish. The book is a nice 315+ page paperback. Every stone has a chakra assigned to it. Incidentally, the author explains that there are 44 cards because 44 is a Master Number representing the "double square" of translation of the non-material into matter or the transformation of Self. This is a "channeled" material format message(hence the name Crystal Deva Cards). There are 5 card spreads for making decisions, facilitating change, opening your heart, alleviating suffering, & integrating spirituality with your daily life. The author has been a Special Ed teacher/administrator and a marketing manager. The deck has 5 unique stones not found in other oracles: angelite, chlorite in quartz, ojo caliente timekeepers, river rock & septarian nodules. Some other less known stones are apophyllite & Boji stone.

Another Excellent Resource for Beginners
As stated in the subject, this is another excellent tool for beginners. Although it isn't my favorite book on crystal healing (I'm partial to the works of Brett Bravo), it is written in a down-to-earth style that is easy to follow and provides loads of information. Very well done.

Love come from heart not appearances just as this story tells us.

multiple specimen photo layout
The cards are oversized @ ~3.25 by 5.5 inches. The plastic "box" is very thin SHARP edged so you may want to purchase a sturdy tarot style box to keep them in. The specimens are assigned numbers 1-11 in 5 groups: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual & quartz. They are set up in multiple stone layouts & photographed on VIBRANT cloth backgrounds. The 18 stones unique to this deck are: clear apophyllite, azurite-malachite, chrysoprase, Dow crystal, onyx, scolecite, sulfur, tempest stone(pietersite), vanadinite, wulfenite; quartz cluster, double-terminated quartz, laser quartz, quartz points, skeletal quartz, tabular quartz, tourmalinated quartz & 4 seed quartz. Crystal Prison

A Clone of the Redwall Saga?! What Do You Think?
The Crystal Prison is a far more enhanced versoin of the Redwall Saga with it's talking maice and animals. Even though it lack's Redwall's stunning fantasies, the Debtford Mice Trilogy sets a pretty fine point for a new author. It's simply wonderful with its great details and great plotline. I'd give it five stars if it wasn't for its confusing characters.
I started reading The Crystal Prison just like any other person would start: I would handpick it from the library or buy it. Usually, I'd check the cover art, as the phrase " never judge a book by it's cover" felt like the words of a dull critic. Nevertheless, I read this book and found it was pretty interesting, given its bizarre lines of characters.
The beginning is fairly simple, it starts off with the ending of Robin Jarvis' (the author) first novel. The Debtford mice have escaped the chamber of Jupiter and the rat infested sewers of the city. Forced by an evil witch named Starwife, they must move to the countryside. But despite an owl who hunts in the night, the countrymice that live in the plains have nought to do but to point their fingers at a young, outspoken female mouse named Audrey. What's left is a wilder conclusion you'd never believe!

EarthDawn: Crystal Raiders
EarthDawn has so many excellent resource books availiable and this one is no exception. This book shows a good look at the life of the crystal raiders. Though considered to be the "bad guys" by some, this book will influence you to try to portray a crystal raider for yourself as a player character. A definate must for an EarthDawn player.
